Description
Smoke detectors are used in areas to detect smoke from a fire and sound an alarm. Photoelectric smoke detectors feature a built-in transmitter that projects a beam signal every 3 seconds to check
for smoke presence. 2 or 4 wires base compatibility. Adopt the latest scattering technology and photoelectric components for reliability. The photoelectric sensor technology relies on an electric
current that produces a beam of light. If the beam of light is interrupted, an alarm sounds.
In a normal smoke-free condition, the LED beam will move in a straight line, through the chamber without striking the photo cell.
When smoke enters the chamber, the smoke particles will deflect some of the light rays, scatter them in all directions. Some of it will reach the photo cell, building enough interference, to activate the detector and generate a current.
