Water Spray Nozzles are used in deluge water spray fixed systems for special hazard fire protection. The nozzles form a part of a deluge sprinkler system specifically engineered as nozzle type and piping to provide the required degree of protection. Such deluge systems are manually or remotely activated or by means of a separate actuation system that senses either the rate of temperature rise or the generation of products of combustion.
The nozzles are effective in covering exposed vertical, horizontal, curved and irregular shaped surfaces that require cooling to prevent excessive heat absorption. These nozzles are also a source used for fire control and extinguishment. Typical applications include oil filled transformers, switch gears, chemical process equipment, conveyor systems and flammable liquid storage areas.
