Progard offers a variety of firewater monitors that are suitable for discharging large volumes of water for cooling (or extinguishing) or foam application on flammable liquids. These monitors are engineered for ease of operation and minimum manpower to stand guard over complexes, refineries, chemical plants, loading docks, tanker berths, railroad yards, offshore platforms, etc.
The instant the monitor is required for fire protection, the operator needs to turn on the water supply and direct the monitor vertically or horizontally, and is able to change the stream pattern of the nozzle, all from a safe distance. Depending on the protection required, there is a choice of manually fixed, oscillating, portable or remote controlled monitors.
As these monitors are constructed in corrosion-resistant brass material, they offer years of dependable service. The monitors are suitable for installation in harsh and corrosive environments.
