Description
Designed for use in fire systems requiring firefighting foam concentrates, the foam bladder tank is one component in a balanced pressure foam proportioning system.
The tank shell is constructed of steel complying to ASME specification. As a safety precaution, the tanks are approximately oversized by 10% to allow for concentrate thermal expansion. All bladder tanks are supplied with standard brass valve trim and painted red enamel.
The tanks have a recommended working pressure of 175 psi (12 bar) and are tested to 1.3 times the working pressure. U.L. Listed.
Progard foam bladder tanks are available with options of prepiped ratio flow controllers and special custom hardware like foam concentrate hydraulic control valve, remote solenoid operated valves or pressure regulating deluge valves.
