Description
The Flamegard is a universal size, two-piece fire suit in aluminised fire resistant natural cotton, treated with proban to meet EN 532:1994. Jacket has stand-up collar, elasticated cuffs and 50mm touch & close fastening to the front and neck. Trousers have 25mm webbing braces with adjustable elasticated lower legs.
Outer gloves with aluminium cotton backs and FR cotton palms, designed to be worn over rubber gloves. Polyethylene helmet (BS5240) is fitted with aluminised fire resistant cotton neck curtain and replaceable 2mm polycarbonate flipup visor. Wellington boots size 10 (UK) with protective toe caps to BS1870 also provided.
Provide protection against exposed radiant heat, splashes, flames, contact and conductive heat in steel works and foundries, in fire fighting and in rescue operations.
